Det som hände
hände runt det hela
det förstår jag när du pratar
Det som händer händer runt det hela
det pågår
går runt
posten måste hållas igång, breven måste skickas och tas emot
brevbäraren måste ta sina rundor,
nycklar måste plockas fram, lås måste låsas upp, brev måste läsas
i systemet som måste gå runt
Baracken passeras för femte gången idag, måste gås in i men kan inte gås in i idag.
Tankar om vad som är där inne fortsätter växa
omformuleras, till stort, till litet
Det där minnet du nämner, var det före eller efter flytten?
Vad hände med flickorna?, det är sådant jag undrar

happened round about it all
I understand this when you speak
What happens happens round about it all
it is ongoing
goes around
the post must be kept going, letters must be sent and received
the postal worker must make their rounds,
keys must be taken out, locks must be unlocked, letters must be read
in the system that must be kept spinning
The barrack is passed for the fifth time today, must be entered but cannot be entered today.
Thoughts about what’s inside continue to unfold
reshape, to large, to small
About that memory you mention, was it before or after the move?
What became of the girls? such things I ponder
